Terms of Service

This document outlines the Terms of Service ("TOS") for coaching services provided by Steph Brown Coaching ("the Coach", "we", "us", or "our") to the client ("you" or "the Client"). By engaging our coaching services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, and that you are voluntarily participating in a coaching program with Steph Brown Coaching.

1. Scope of Coaching Services

Steph Brown Coaching provides personal training, customised fitness programming, nutrition guidance, and lifestyle coaching. The specific details of your program will be agreed upon separately. While the Coach will provide professional guidance, individual results depend on your commitment and cannot be guaranteed.

2. Medical Disclaimer & Client Health

The Coach is a qualified personal trainer and nutrition coach, but not a medical professional. Coaching is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are strongly advised to consult with your GP before beginning any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions, are pregnant, or have any injuries.

You agree to inform the Coach of any health conditions or injuries and to stop immediately if you experience pain or discomfort, seeking medical advice as needed.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to be honest and open, follow the agreed program, communicate any concerns promptly, and maintain medical clearance if required. You are responsible for your own health and safety.

4. Payments, Refunds, and Cooling-Off Period

All payments must be made as per the agreed schedule. In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your agreement to cancel for a full refund, provided services have not commenced. If services begin within this period at your request, you will be charged pro-rata for services rendered if you choose to cancel. After the 14-day period, all fees are non-refundable.

Coaching will be suspended if payment for services is not made within 5 days of the due date. Part payments may be accepted with prior agreement and subject to an agreed payment plan.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling (1-to-1 Sessions)

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session without penalty. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will result in the session being forfeited.

6. Liability

You acknowledge that you participate in coaching at your own risk. The Coach shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of proven negligence by the Coach.

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Your personal information will be kept strictly confidential and handled in compliance with UK GDPR. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All program materials provided remain the intellectual property of Steph Brown Coaching and are for your personal use only. They may not be shared or distributed.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
